Leadership Team

Ali Arams

Ali’s admiration of African culture began in college when her French professor sent her to live with a Guadeloupian family, where she designed and taught an English summer course for children at a local learning center. The enriching experience inspired her to teach English for WorldTeach Tanzania.

After receiving her Master’s in English Curriculum and Instruction, she continued to teach in public schools and learning centers in the U.S. She specialized in teaching English as a second language and catering to various learning challenges in underserved communities.

She has also spent the past five years studying holistic women’s health, and sees herself focusing on education in Tanzania and supporting women’s reproductive rights.

  • Angaza Center

Together, we are expanding the Angaza Center’s efforts to Tanzania. We will be building a computer lab and providing digital literacy education to students at Usangule Secondary School. Once established, we will expand to surrounding schools.
